Tshwane Library Chess Tournaments
The Tshwane Library Chess Tournaments are an initiative by the City of Tshwane, aimed at promoting chess among local youth through community libraries. Throughout May and June 2025, seven regional tournaments will take place across the City of Tshwane. The top three players from each regional event will qualify for the City Finals, scheduled for 21 June 2025 at the Mamelodi West Community Hall.

This event is only open to players born in 2009, 2010, and 2011.
These tournaments are designed to be inclusive, providing young chess players an opportunity to compete, develop their skills, and gain valuable experience in a structured and supportive environment.
